Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how P8 Consulting ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit courses.p8consulting.com.au or enrol in the NextGen Program or any other course, coaching program, or digital service we offer (collectively, the "Services").
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in that Act. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as set out in this Policy.
1. Who we are
The Services are provided by P8 Consulting (ABN: 78 531 775 996), registered in Victoria, Australia. Our registered business address is 67-69 Palmerston Cres, South Melbourne VIC 3205. Our contact details for privacy-related enquiries are set out in section 12.
2. What personal information we collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to deliver the Services and run our business. The information we collect may include:
(a) Identity and contact information — your full name, email address, phone number (if provided), postal address (where required for a tax invoice), and date of birth (only where legally required).
(b) Account information — your login credentials, profile details, and preferences within the Kajabi platform.
(c) Payment information — we do not store your full credit card or bank account details. Payment data is collected and processed by our payment providers (Stripe and/or PayPal). We receive limited transaction information such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, transaction amount, currency, and payment status.
(d) Course activity data — lesson progress, quiz and assessment responses, log-in times, and interactions within the NextGen Program.
(e) Communications — the content of emails, support tickets, and other correspondence you send to us, and any feedback or testimonials you provide.
(f) Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and similar information collected via cookies and analytics tools (see section 7).
We do not deliberately collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) unless you voluntarily provide it or we are required to do so by law.
3. How we collect personal information
We collect personal information:
(a) directly from you when you complete a waitlist or enrolment form, make a purchase, create an account, respond to a survey, or contact us;
(b) automatically through cookies, pixels, and analytics tools when you use our website or the Services;
(c) from our third-party service providers, such as Kajabi (which hosts our courses and member accounts) and Stripe / PayPal (which process payments).
4. Why we collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
(a) to provide, deliver, administer, and improve the Services, including giving you access to course content, community features, and support;
(b) to process payments, issue tax invoices and receipts, and manage refunds where required by law;
(c) to communicate with you about your account, your enrolment, course updates, and important changes to our Services or these Terms;
(d) with your consent, to send you marketing communications, newsletters, and offers about our Services — you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email;
(e) to respond to your enquiries, support requests, and feedback;
(f) to analyse usage and improve the content, performance, and user experience of our Services;
(g) to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and breaches of our Terms & Conditions;
(h) to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
5. Who we disclose personal information to
We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
(a) Service providers and third-party processors — including Kajabi (course hosting, member accounts, email delivery), Stripe and/or PayPal (payment processing), and any email, analytics, or customer support tools we use. These providers are authorised to use personal information only to the extent necessary to perform their services for us.
(b) Professional advisers — including our accountants, lawyers, and auditors, where necessary.
(c) Regulators, law enforcement, and courts — where we are required or permitted by law to do so.
(d) In the context of a business transfer — such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case personal information would transfer subject to equivalent privacy protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers are located outside Australia. In particular, Kajabi is based in the United States, and Stripe and PayPal operate data-processing infrastructure in the United States and other countries. By using the Services, you consent to your personal information being transferred to, stored in, and processed in these countries. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a manner consistent with the APPs.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website and the Kajabi platform use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, measure website traffic, and improve our Services. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Services may not work properly without them.
We may also use web analytics tools (such as those provided by Kajabi, Google, or similar) to understand aggregate usage patterns. These tools may collect IP addresses and device identifiers.
8. How we store and protect personal information
Personal information is stored on secure servers operated by Kajabi and our other authorised service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including through access controls, encryption in transit, and staff training.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. How long we keep personal information
We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including tax and record-keeping laws), and to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to de-identify or securely destroy it.
10. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:
(a) request access to the personal information we hold about you;
(b) request that we correct personal information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading;
(c) withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time;
(d) request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it;
(e) make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be notified by email or via a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
